About GKS Electrics


A call out charge is a charge levied to get us to your property, we do not charge this. What we do is:

Come to inspect the appliance

Diagnose the fault

Give you a price for the repair

If it can be repaired on call & you wish us to do so, we will & payment upon completion

If we have to order any parts we will charge a £20 deposit, return once we have the parts (usually within 2-3 days) do the repair & remaining balace to be paid on completion.

If you decide not to have the repair done there will be a £20 charge for our time inspecting and diagnosing your appliance, this is payable at the time of the visit.


Parts that are supplied & fitted by us come with a 12 months guarantee except where domestic appliances are used for commercial reasons or being used inappropriately/miss-used.

You will be informed if any specific parts fitted can't carry a guarantee before the repair​.


We keep a secure record of your name, address, contact details, date of repair, appliance & fault details. This helps us keep track of guarantees & makes it easier for any future calls. These details are kept on a specially designed database on a computer that is not connected to the internet. Your details are not shared with any third party.
